The new Staircase Salesforce Connector is now available and recommended for all new connections. Existing connections will continue to work for now; see the Community post for details and documentation.

Salesforce integration is now operational again, allowing both CRM and Case data to be synced to Staircase. However, Slack and Gong.io integrations remain non-functional.

The Salesforce and Gainsight incident remains ongoing. Rest assured our teams are working around the clock to resolve the issue and restore functionality as quickly and safely as possible.
In the meantime, we are preparing a workaround and steps to re-enable services.

At this time, Staircase still cannot read from or write data to Salesforce due to Salesforce’s ongoing investigation and associated connection restrictions.
The Staircase Slack app is currently disabled; notifications to Slack are not sent, and messages from external connections are not tracked.
Additionally, Staircase cannot retrieve call transcripts from Gong.io due to a precautionary step taken by Gong.io.
All other Staircase services are operating normally, including AI pipelines, notifications, and internal workflows. There is no indication of any breach or compromise to Staircase infrastructure. The Staircase platform runs on a completely isolated Infrastructure, separate from other Gainsight products. We will post updates as they become available.
